Head out to Cotopaxi National Park, home to one of the highest active volcanoes on earth, and the Limpiopungo lagoon. In the afternoon, the Quilotoa crater and its emerald-green lake.

Fly to the archipelago and transfer to Puerto Ayora. Your first run-in with the dock's wildlife (iguanas, sea lions, pelicans) and a visit to the Charles Darwin Station, home to century-old giant tortoises.
